About KeKi

Policy for empowering, supporting and protecting children and young people

At KeKi, we have an Integrity Focal Point ("API") whom children and young people can turn to for reporting violations and misbehaviour.

Who is the API at the Children's Rights Knowledge Centre?

Ellen Van Vooren and Lien Magerman are the contact person for the Integrity Policy within the Children's Rights Knowledge Centre. They are joint API with the Children's Rights Coalition Flanders and tZItemzo and have followed the necessary trainings.

Ellen Van Vooren can be contacted at ellen.vanvooren@keki.be.

Lien Magerman can be contacted at lien.magerman@kinderrechtencoalitie.be

What is the policy of the Children's Rights Knowledge Centre?

KeKi has a policy for empowering, supporting and protecting children and young people we work with. The purpose of this policy is to prevent any type of violence from occuring during moments of direct contact with children within (research) activities, projects and collaborations with partners. Its implementation also helps in guaranteeing the empowerment of children and young people, creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere in which it is possible for them to fulfil their full potential.
